JMU and the City of Würzburg
Würzburg is a vibrant and youthful city. Almost half of its population of 130,000 is aged under 30. And many of those young people are studying at JMU, the University of Applied Sciences or the University of Music.
With roots reaching back as far as 1402, JMU is one of the oldest universities in the German-speaking parts of the world!
What is it that sets us apart? We offer a wide range of subjects, and our research centres have earned a reputation for excellence.
